0 stars for wisdom teeth

Getting wisdom teeth out sucks. It was my first time having any type of surgery and makes me realize how thankful I am this is the only surgery I have the pleasure of being familiar with.

I went in Thursday morning to get it done. I was sooo nervous. They called me back into the room and started to hook up the machines to me that would be monitoring my heart beat and breathing. I could hear the beeping from the machine monitoring my heartbeat and it sounded like I had just hit jackpot at the casino. "BEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEP!!" going so fast. "Alright, so have you ever had Nitrous Oxide, Jennifer? The more you breath in, the less youll feel." So sure enough I was breathing like I had just finished a race. "its not working!" i remember saying, as my fingers became numb. Before I knew it, they were hooking up the IV. My heart rate had slowed down and it was apparent the the laughing gas was taking its full effect on me. Last thing I remember was the surgeon telling the most boring story about some medical party he went to. I remember thinking, "he is telling me this so ill fall asleep!!" Then before I knew it, everything slowed down and with the blink of an eye it was over.

I woke up in the BEST mood. A little mad that I didnt get to do the classic "countdown from 100" but happy none the less. My mom came in the room and was talking to the surgeon saying how fast it was. I shouted, "FASTEST SURGEON IN THE WEESSSTT!". Then up until today I have been stuck in bed looking like a chipmunk & taking vicodin everyone few hours when the pain starts to kick in. Today is the first day I haven't taken vicodin which is nice because I actually have some energy. Over the weekend I watched countless movies, food channel religiously, and the first season of The Office (which by the way, I am officially obsessed with). Moral of the story, getting your wisdom teeth out sucks.
